1) As a dedicated gamer of BrownDust2, when I talk about the game’s “IP”, I’m referring to everything under its umbrella – from the intricate world design and captivating storylines, to the unique characters, monstrous creatures, visual art, background tunes, and cinematic videos that make up this gaming universe.
2) The copyright and intellectual property ownership for any content based on the Game IP is held by BrownDust2. (Alternatively, Any content using the Game IP is under the copyright and intellectual property protection of BrownDust2.)
“Derivative Works” encompasses any new creative pieces developed using the intellectual property from the game, or by creatively modifying the content of Brown Dust 2.
4) Simply replicating the Intellectual Property (IP) of the game, like copying or similar actions, does not fall under the category of Derivative Work Creation.
Engaging in the development, distribution, or management of a game under the Game Intellectual Property does not constitute a Derivative Work Action.
6) When disclosing Derivative Works, you must clearly credit BrownDust2 as the source.
For specific resources, such as music or videos, you must include a link to our official channel.

or
7) Derivative works can be employed for both personal and restricted business applications, as long as they adhere to the following guidelines:
You’re allowed to post your Derivative Works on open-access content platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Kickstarter, and so forth, and earn money from advertisements or contributions/sponsorships from viewers. However, making money through other means apart from ads or sponsorships is not allowed.
Non-infringing derivative works can be freely sold, without any specific restrictions. Normally, there’s no requirement to get NEOWIZ or BrownDust2’s approval or pre-review of your fan creations unless explicitly stated.
Works derived from the original should only be sold by their creators, either in person or via online platforms. The creators are not permitted to distribute their works through intermediaries like dealers, wholesalers, general distributors, or online marketplaces that buy items for resale; if you want to sell through such an intermediary, you need BrownDust2’s prior written consent in advance.
iv. For online sales, you may sell up to 100 units per Derivative Work.
In simpler terms, if the Derived Work takes the form of a published piece (like a fan comic or shared collection), there are no limitations on commercial activities associated with it.
To legally sell derivative works based on the Intellectual Property (IP) of BrownDust2, businesses, whether registered as corporations or sole proprietorships, must first acquire written consent from BrownDust2. Failure to do so could lead to BrownDust2 taking necessary actions, such as making a formal request for them to stop sales.
8) All Derivative Works must comply with copyright and relevant laws.
It’s essential that actions do not contradict community values, moral principles, or societal norms. The following is a list of things that are absolutely forbidden in the creation of derivative works.
i. Content that could harm the reputation of BrownDust2
As an ardent supporter, I would never condone material that breaches established legal boundaries or encroaches on the rights of others, such as copyrights or personal image rights. Respect for these fundamental rights is paramount in any content creation or sharing endeavors.
Information that shows bias, belittles, or incites prejudice or hostility towards any particular community, faith, ethnicity, or gender.
iv. Content that is violent, disturbing, or graphic
v. Content that can be mistaken as official company content
vi. Any other content deemed inappropriate by BrownDust2
In case any adaptations breach our guidelines or relevant laws, BrownDust2 retains the authority to promptly withdraw permission for using the game’s intellectual property and may choose to enforce actions like removing content, halting distribution, or blocking transmission of infringing material.
10) All rights to the Game IP are reserved by BrownDust2.
