📢 1000-Day Anniversary: Handwritten Letters from the BD2 Team

It’s been an amazing journey since the very first Story Pack, and we want to thank all of you for being with us for the past 1000 days! Your support, feedback, and honest opinions have been invaluable in making BrownDust2 what it is today. To show our gratitude for reaching this milestone, three members of our development team have written personal, handwritten letters.

✉️ Project Director Jun-hee Lee

Hello, this is Jun-hee Lee, the Project Director of Brown Dust 2.

It seems like just yesterday we first connected, but it’s already been over 1,000 days! We’ve been working incredibly hard, and I treasure every moment of this journey. This time since we launched has been a truly special period for me as a game developer, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

I started writing this letter celebrating 1,000 days with a positive feeling. But reviewing all your feedback made me stop and think seriously. It really highlighted how much work we still have to do on the game, and I take full responsibility for where we haven’t met expectations.

As we approach our 3rd anniversary in April and May, I’m committed to making Brown Dust 2 a more refined and enjoyable game. I hope to be able to share exciting updates with you then, feeling optimistic and relieved.

I often think on my commute home how lucky I am to be able to continue working with you tomorrow. I truly hope we can keep this going for a long time.

Hello, I’m Jongho Kim, the Publishing Director for Brown Dust 2.

Looking back over the past 1,000 days fills me with gratitude. I’m writing this not only in my role as a leader, but as someone who has been with all of you every step of the way.

Things haven’t always been simple for us. We faced challenges and weren’t always sure which direction to take, but you always helped guide us when we felt lost. Your incredible enthusiasm for our creations and your support of our stories are the only reason we’ve been able to continue.

It means a lot to me that you choose to be a part of our community. Over time, it’s become like a family to me, and I’m dedicated to ensuring your time here is always valuable and enjoyable.

We couldn’t have reached 1,000 days without your incredible support. It’s truly a testament to your dedication that you stuck with us, and we’re deeply grateful. We’ll never forget that. No matter what milestones we achieve – our 3rd Anniversary, 2,000 days, or beyond – we promise to continue working hard to make Brown Dust 2 a highlight of your day, as long as you’re with us.

Hey, this is Origami from Brown Dust 2.

It’s a little nerve-wracking to be writing this thank-you letter by hand, especially to everyone who’s supported us for the past 1,000 days. I definitely need to practice my handwriting more!

Man, thinking back over the last 1,000 days playing this game… I’ve got a lot of regrets, honestly. So many things I wish I’d handled differently. It makes you realize time is just a bunch of ‘shoulda, woulda, coulda’ moments, you know? Okay, maybe that sounded a little cheesy. I was going for profound, but… yeah. I’m sure you’ve had your ups and downs with the game too. But I think the reason we all keep coming back, even with the frustrations, is because of the story. It’s just… the Plot is really good.

This story comes from a place of genuine passion – something you can truly feel. As that passion has grown, so has the story, becoming richer and more exciting. I couldn’t have created this alone; it’s a story we’ve all built together, and I’m deeply grateful for everyone’s contribution. To keep this amazing experience going, I’ll continue to work hard to ensure Brown Dust 2 remains a complete and satisfying game. I wish you all the best.
