You Can Make This LEGO Ideas BEETLEJUICE Set Hit Shelves Soon

As a seasoned gamer and LEGO enthusiast with a soft spot for all things Tim Burton, I can’t help but be captivated by the prospect of a Beetlejuice-themed LEGO set! With my extensive collection already showcasing some of the most iconic LEGO sets, from The Nightmare Before Christmas to the BTS Dynamite set, adding Beetlejuice to the lineup would be an absolute delight.

A project centered around LEGO figures from the movie “Beetlejuice” has been posted on the LEGO Ideas site. This platform enables fans to submit their own creations for consideration. If a design garners more than 10,000 votes, LEGO transforms it into a real-life set that can be bought. Previous successful projects include the recently released “The Nightmare Before Christmas” collection and the “BTS Dynamite” set.

The LEGO ideas set inspired by the movie “Beetlejuice” is called “Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!”, which refers to the recently released “Beetlejuice” film in cinemas. Brick Build Labs, the set designer, stated, “Since Tim Burton’s ‘Beetlejuice’ is back on the big screen with a new sequel, it’s the ideal moment for ‘Beetlejuice’ to return to LEGO!

The proposed set is a modular build of the Maitland house from the film, which is central to the plots of the original and new films. Fun fact: the Maitland house in the original movie was created for the film to match Tim Burton‘s vision.

The playset is filled with various elements, including reenacting movie scenes using the eight mini-figures provided. Moreover, the house’s loft includes a chimney entrance and a glowing, green LEGO block. Among the mini-figure characters are Adam and Barbara Maitland, who come with interchangeable faces, as well as Charles, Delia, Lydia, Otho, Miss Argentina, and a character from the Netherworld Waiting Room’s Magician’s Assistant.

To bring this project to life, consider creating an account on the LEGO Ideas platform and lend your support. Once we reach 10,000 supporters, it advances to the evaluation phase where LEGO determines if the concept is suitable for large-scale production. Currently, we have garnered 3,300 supporters, with approximately 566 days remaining to gather an additional 6,700 supporters before we reach our goal.
