Last Friday, TMZ ran into the Suicide Squad actor at LAX airports and asked him about how the power outage impacted his journeys. He shared his own distressing story, an experience similar to that of numerous others during the previous week.
Joel described his own harrowing experience of being stranded at the airport due to a technical malfunction that caused hours-long delays for countless travelers, including himself, en route from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
The global IT upheaval caused Windows PCs to halt, forced businesses and broadcasting stations to halt operations, and resulted in numerous planes being grounded at various airports.

Joel Kinnaman slept on the airport floor
According to the report, Kinnaman was left without a pillow and ultimately had to rest on the airport floor with his pack as a makeshift pillow. He expressed frustration over his flight being continually delayed, stating, “They kept postponing it.” He pondered over how the widespread data outage impacted many, including himself.
Previously mentioned, a system failure occurred due to an update from CrowdStrike software that led to the cancellation of thousands of flights around the globe, disrupting hospitals and creating complications for the Paris Olympics. The day before, Joel embarked on his trip from Atlanta at 5 pm and arrived in Los Angeles later on.
