I had an exciting chat with The New York Times recently about my latest romantic comedy, Fly Me to the Moon, where I bring to life the character of Kelly Jones. It’s been a pleasure working on this project, and I couldn’t help but share some behind-the-scenes stories. Speaking of which, I feel so fortunate to have formed such strong bonds with my Avengers co-stars – Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo. Their support and camaraderie make every day on set an enjoyable experience.

The actress acknowledged having a private text group with her Avengers co-stars when asked about it. She added with a hopeful tone that no one would ever come across their messages, explaining, “We share everything in there.”

The Black Widow actor acknowledged the existence of their exclusive chat, but shared little detail about its content, only mentioning to the media, “Topics may include discussions if someone has received unfavorable criticism.”

Johansson went on to say, “The Avengers are more like a close-knit family to us,” sharing that they’ve shared countless “extraordinary journeys” over the past decade. This experience has had a profound impact on each of them. Moreover, she mentioned that if you send a group text to the team, you can expect a quick response from most members, which is wonderful.

Recently in an interview with Mens Health, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson’s fellow Marvel star, shared that the camaraderie among The Avengers cast is genuine and not just for show on social media. He added, “We genuinely dislike being labeled as just posing for Instagram.”

The actor shared that they have a “group chat where their family keeps in touch.” They elaborated that the family members have gone through a meaningful experience together during this time. Over the past 12 years, significant life events such as divorces, marriages, and births have occurred within the family.

Renner expressed a strong bond amongst the group, going so far as to say he cherishes every member. He even preferred the idea of sharing jail time with Robert Downey Jr. instead of accomplishing something remarkable on his own.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson’s latest film Fly Me to the Moon is now out in theaters.
