The situation seems to be deteriorating further for Disney, with allegations arising that Rachel Zegler has become unmanageable.

As a devoted cinephile, I’ve recently learned that Disney seems to be tightening the reins on the UK and U.S. premieres for Snow White, given the ongoing debates surrounding both Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. It appears that Zegler has been vocal about the original film, and she also expresses solidarity with Palestine, while Gadot openly supports Israel.

Disney doesn’t know what to do

According to reports from New York Post’s Page Six, it appears that collaborating with Rachel Zegler has turned into quite a challenge for those involved.

Disney’s principal actress has become difficult to handle. The executives are at a loss as to how to deal with her… She’s a vocal young woman who isn’t backing down on her social media activity. Disney executives have reached out directly to her, requesting she moderate her posts. They’ve also contacted her management, but it seems their advice is falling on deaf ears.

Throughout the entire filming process, things have remained consistent. However, connecting her political views to ‘Snow White’ is what’s causing distress.

Family of Disney animator David Hand not happy

According to Page Six, the family of Disney animator David Hand expressed displeasure over Disney’s perceived manipulation of “Snow White” to align with a contemporary social agenda. They went as far as stating they wouldn’t purchase a ticket for the film. David Hale Hand, son of David Hand, stated that his father and Walt Disney would be astonished, perhaps even spinning in their graves, due to this development.

The original version was spot-on. Based on my understanding of the new movie, it seems to have little resemblance to the original tale. In fact, it’s strayed so far from the mark that it appears quite absurd.

Disney destroyed Snow White

David Hale Hand’s wife, Sandra, also added Disney has destroyed Snow White:

Instead of keeping true to the original ‘Snow White’ tale, they’ve decided to reimagine it by incorporating contemporary social issues. In essence, they’re transforming a classic and visually stunning story into something entirely different. It seems unnecessary, especially given how much effort David’s father put into creating this film. He would often exclaim, ‘What have you done?’ when faced with such changes.
