It appears that the ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is generating more headlines, with Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, entering the fray, as he recently traveled from New York City, based on reports by the Daily Mail.
It’s said that the actor was seen at JFK airport accompanied by his assistant, but there were no sightings of Lively with him. For his attire, Reynolds donned a pastel yellow hoodie, slim-fitting trousers, and white sneakers. Completing the look, he carried a brown duffle bag.
Or, more casually:
Reports have it that the actor was at JFK airport with his assistant, but Lively wasn’t around. Reynolds dressed in a pastel yellow hoodie, skinny pants, and white sneakers, and had a brown duffle bag to boot.
Both versions convey the same information, but the second one is more conversational and informal.
As reported in the publication, Baldoni has filed a $400 million defamation suit that involves not just Lively, but also Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane. Additionally, Baldoni has launched a $250 million libel suit against The New York Times for publishing Lively’s claims, according to the report.
In recent online conversations, Blake and Reynolds have been frequently brought up, particularly since December 2024, when the actress leveled sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni on the set of their movie “It Ends With Us.” Notably, Baldoni was both the director and a cast member of this film he directed.
It’s been reported by sources close to the situation that the actress from Age of Adaline is said to have quietly grappled with feelings of regret concerning her legal dispute with the director of Five Feet Apart.
Last month, the actor who plays Deadpool, along with Sloane, requested that Baldoni’s lawsuit be dropped, according to recent reports. In a statement, Reynolds allegedly labeled Baldoni as “sensitive” and portrayed himself as a “dedicated partner” to his spouse.
As reported in the publication, the legal team of Baldoni and Wayfare Studios labeled Reynolds as a “co-conspirator” alongside Lively on Tuesday. They urged Judge Lewis J. Liman to reject the motion for dismissal.
