“Tougen Anki” is an anime based on Yura Urushibara’s fantasy story about Oni and descendants of Momotaro. It follows Shiki Ichinose as he learns about his family history and gets caught up in a secret conflict. The anime began airing on July 11, 2025, continued with a second part in October, and is available on Crunchyroll with subtitles and dubbed audio. It’s fascinating to watch them navigate the whole immigration process and deal with being the ‘outsider’ in a new culture. New seasons usually drop on Mondays on TLC, and if you’re into streaming, you can typically catch them on Max after a bit. Over the years, we’ve seen couples move all over the place – Asia, Europe, South America, even Australia! It started back in 2019 and it’s still a big part of what makes the ’90 Day’ franchise so popular.
