After Thunderbolts Success Here’s What Sebastian Stan Will Take on With The White Lotus Star Leo Woodall; Know Details

After appearing on The Apprentice, Sebastian Stan assumes a completely distinct character in Justin Kurzel’s upcoming movie. Sharing the screen with The White Lotus actor Leo Woodall, Stan reprises his role in the film destined for Cannes, titled Burning Rainbow Farm.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I can’t help but be thrilled about the upcoming film that seems to delve deep into the dark yet captivating events of the 2001 Michigan police standoff, an incident reminiscent of Waco in its magnitude and aftermath, as Variety puts it. In this gripping tale, Woodall and Stan will breathe life into the characters of Tom Crosslin and Rollie Rohm, two gay activists who made headlines in the ’90s for their cannabis advocacy efforts.

A duo established Rainbow Farm, an idyllic haven with a relaxed attitude towards marijuana, which was famously known as one of the top global hotspots for cannabis enthusiasts.

Through their advocacy for LGBT rights and unique way of life, the couple often found themselves at odds with community leaders. Subsequently, a tense situation involving their son’s arrest escalated into one of the most notorious standoffs between police and civilians in American history in the past.

In a fresh and captivating manner, Kurzel expressed his enthusiasm for “Burning Rainbow”, a tale of two unique individuals who defy prejudice, stating boldly, ‘We are who we are, and try as you might, you can’t take that away from us.’ I look forward to breathing life into these endearing and valiant characters, Sebastian and Leo, whose relationship will surely leave a lasting impression.

The movie, titled Rocket Science, will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. It is this film that has secured international sales. The North American distribution, however, is being managed by CAA Media Finance. The screenplay was written by Tommy Murphy and is based on Dean Kuipers’ 2006 nonfiction book Burning Rainbow Farm: A Chronicle of the Rise and Fall of a Stoner Utopia.

Kurzel described the tale as a potent and heartfelt narrative about two resolute individuals who stubbornly held onto their character and beliefs, refusing to yield or retreat. Moreover, he emphasized the significance of the two popular actors, Stan and Woodall, both delving into challenging parts at present.

For now, enthusiasts have the opportunity to witness Winter Soldier at his best, since Sebastian Stan’s new Marvel film, Thunderbolts, premiered globally in cinemas a week ago.
