Jonathan Majors recently opened up about his personal struggles in a heartfelt television interview, praising his wife, Meagan Good, for helping him through a difficult time. On the February 17th episode of BET’s For The Fellas, the 36-year-old actor became emotional while explaining how Good was his rock during a challenging legal battle and its impact on his career. He credited her support with helping him stay strong.
During a recent interview, Jonathan Majors often paused, becoming emotional as he spoke about how supportive his wife, Meagan Good, has been. He emphasized that she’s there for him in every possible way, calling her his everything and crediting her with helping him through incredibly difficult times.
This heartfelt display of appreciation comes almost a year after their private wedding in March 2025, which was officiated by Majors’ mother. The couple began dating in May 2023, shortly after Majors was arrested following a disagreement with a previous partner.
Throughout the subsequent legal proceedings – where he was ultimately found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment – Good consistently stood by his side in court. Although Majors avoided jail time, he completed a year-long domestic violence intervention program in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Jonathan Majors shared a touching moment, expressing how Meagan Good and his mother supported him through a really tough time in his life. He described it as them helping him rebuild. The moment also highlighted a powerful display of Black men supporting one another, with Deon Cole and others present.

Jonathan Majors recently discussed some personal matters and clarified a misunderstanding with rapper NLE Choppa. He explained that there was never any conflict between them, and he only learned about Choppa’s previous comments through his wife.
Majors emphasized that he trusts his wife and isn’t concerned with outside opinions or negativity within the entertainment industry. He’s now focused on rebuilding his career after being let go from Marvel.
His film, Magazine Dreams, which was delayed for almost two years, was finally released in theaters in March 2025 by Briarcliff Entertainment. He’s also working on two new projects: the action movie True Threat and the thriller Merciless, directed by Martin Villeneuve, both currently in the works.
Meagan Good has had a very busy year, starring in and producing the Lifetime thriller I’ll Never Let You Go. She and Jonathan Majors recently gained citizenship in Guinea, connecting with their family history in the West African country.
Even with a lot of public attention since 2023, the couple has publicly reaffirmed their commitment to each other and their faith, as they discussed on The Tamron Hall Show.
Jonathan Majors’ mother, who is both a pastor and therapist, has played a key role in their relationship, having guided them through counseling before they married. As Majors works to move forward with his career, it’s clear that his relationship with Good is his top priority.
